How we pick captains based on pitch geometry

Over last two seasons our analyst team has tracked fantasy captain performance at 14 IPL venues. The data shows a clean split:

Short square boundary (<58m) → left-handed top-order batter = 41% hit rate as captain. Reason: short square on the on-side eats every mistimed clip for 6.
Long straight boundary (>75m) → spin all-rounder bowling in middle overs = 33% hit rate. Reason: batters can't clear the straight, middle overs lose tempo.
Short straight boundary (<65m) + dew → death-over fast bowler = 29% hit rate (surprisingly high). Reason: wet ball, yorker specialists rip through the tail.

Chinnaswamy tonight: Short leg-square (56m), medium straight (65m), dew arriving late. Rule combines: back a left-handed top-order bat OR a death-over fast bowler. That's why Phil Salt (LHB top 3) and Yash Dayal (death FB) are our captain/VC pair.
